A good drug, almost makes me feel "normal". Only side effect is nausea which I have gotten used to and when I was on a higher dose I exhibited manic and agressive behaviour; I have since reduced my dose and have been fine.

I've been taking the generic brand of Cymbalta and it is bad. I am very suicidal and whenever I become really happy, I lose it in a matter of seconds. I am quick to react before thinking it through. Overall I feel it's messing with my brain big time.

Comment:
The only side effect I have with Cymbalta is urinary retention. The biggest side effect is trying to come off of it. It doesn't work so much for easing psychological pain as it does for easing physical pain, which is counterintuitive to its mandate. I highly suggest using a SSRI in conjunction with Cymbalta as it only works fairly well for depression and anxiety.
