This medication made me forget most of what happened because I was constantly drowsy. It was like I had a haze of sleep and sadness for a month and a half. I always could fall asleep, however, which was fantastic. Getting off it wasn't bad, however when I was getting off of Lexapro, I was getting on Zoloft.

I was prescribed this starting with 5 mg but have had increases all the way up to 20 mg. At first it worked great. no side effects except drowsiness. After this last increase, i feel so lifeless. I have almost no emotions. I feel stressed all the time and i still get panic attacks every once in a while.

Was taking it for dysthymia (which I don't believe I have by the way), it did absolutely nothing. Took it for 3 months exclusively because my psychiatrist pleaded with me to stick to it. Had withdrawal symptoms for about a month despite the low dose I was on (10mg).
