I read many bad reviews here and realize everyone responds differently but having had my first colonoscopy today, wanted to say that suprep was pretty gentle. I ate only a small serving of yogurt the morning of my "cleanse" and I drank 3-1/2 16 oz bottles of water as well throughout the day. I started the suprep around 4 pm. I mixed the suprep with diet green-tea flavored ginger ale and ... Show Full Comment

Full disclosure...I am a self-professed hypochondriac. I have been frightened out of my wits for years at having a colonoscopy because I have heard all the horror stories. I chose Suprep as it came recommended from a friend. I prepared myself fully...I went on a low-residue diet one week before and I bought Smart Water and drank 2 liters during the day I started my prep to make sure I stayed fu ... Show Full Comment

Drank a quarter of it and then sucked on a lemon candy and just continued drinking and sucking candy until gone. Started going within an hour. No cramping. Second bottle was difficult to get down and to keep down a ... Show Full Comment

had my first colonoscopy at almost age 57 after being read the riot act by my doctor. Dreaded the prep, based on all I heard. Suprep does not taste bad at all, like a salty Robitussin, worked quickly, no cramping. The tough part is getting the addtional 32 oz of water down within an hours, but if you take it slow, no problem.

Having read many reviews, I feared becoming nauseous, but this drug was much better than the one I took ten years ago and I had no side effects. I first numbed my tongue with ice, then swallowed as much as I could with a straw, then sipped a bit of white cranberry juice and took a bite of lemon ices. Continued this approach until the prep was gone. It does taste vile, but not unbearable as I had ... Show Full Comment
