Side effects experieced is many sour stomachs with gas bloating,so tired, I'm on 2 months lots of nausia, not able to continue on this drug, just not for me.

Works great but giving me violent hiccups :( both at 0.6 and 1.2 dose.

I was given Victoza by my diabetes specialist for my type 2 diabetes as he hoped it would help me lose weight. I am also taking insulin. However, my nausea turned quickly to vomiting and dizziness. I continued in the hope these symptoms would go away. I was certainly losing weight but at great cost. Finally, I was so weak I had to be rushed to the emergency room. Comment:
Sugar dropped like a rock. Run 70-90. Lost about 15 lbs. Side effects- constipation, "sour stomach" belching. Feel like food sits in stomach for hours. If low sugar occurs, eating or drinking doesn't help. Just have to suspend insulin pump and hope for the best.
